Boys' Golf continued its strong run Tuesday afternoon, picking up a 148-176 victory over Gibson County at The Farms. The Choctaws claimed each of the top three individual spots in the match, led by another impressive round from Jarrett Harrison. Harrison fired a 34 to earn medalist honors, while Beau Thurman was one stroke back with a 35. Jamison Rhodes followed with a 37 to give Dyer County the top three individual scores of the day. Ripley also had golfers competing in the match but did not have enough players to record a team score. Dyer County also came away with a victory in junior varsity competition, shooting a team score of 207 to Gibson County's 231. There was no girls team competition on Tuesday. The boys' 148 continued a string of strong performances at The Farms. Dyer County also shot a 148 Monday in its victory over Dyersburg, giving the Choctaws matching team scores on consecutive days. Dyer County will be back on the course on Thursday as they travel to Humboldt.
